Our Bretton Woods location offers hundreds of miles of groomed trails and is the gateway to the Great North Woods. First-time riders are required to take a guided tour before going self guided. Most accidents are self guided rentals with little to no experience. Safety in are number one concern.
For safety reasons, there is a 2-sled minimum on all self-guided rentals. Previous snowmobile experience is required for all self guided rentals.
Our Bartlett Trail System features 50+ miles of trails and is perfect for families and first-time or less-experienced riders.

Northern Extremes snowmobiles have electric start, hand warmers and reverse and our fleet consists of Ski-Doo MXZ 600 Ace Single Snowmobiles, Polaris Indy 550 i and Grand Touring 600 Ace Double Snowmobiles.

- Previous experience is required.
- Individuals must be 21 years of age to rent a snowmobile unless accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Driver’s must be 16 years of age with valid driver’s license US or International license. Unfortunately, driver’s permits are not acceptable. Call for more details.
- Passengers must be 5 years of age and older.
- Helmets are required to be worn at all times.
- Individuals must be dressed appropriately. IE. Winter Jacket, Pants, Gloves and Boots. Sorry ladies UGG are not warm.

- Anyone under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol are not allowed to operate a snowmobile and will be refused service. This includes Marijuana. IF we smell marijuana you will be refused service.
- Double Snowmobile maximum combined weight is 425 lbs.
